Wales Perfumery Iverni is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2025, created by Louise Smith. Iverni opens with Ice, Juniper, and Snow, settles into a heart of Rose and Metal, and dries down to a base of Flint, Woody Notes, Moss, and Spruce. Wales Perfumery's Iverni carries an Acquired verdict, an elemental-led wear.

An icy, metallic Eau de Parfum with juniper, rose and spruce over moss and flint. The few wearer accounts disagree sharply, so performance and appeal remain uncertain.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Iverni is an Eau de Parfum from Wales Perfumery's Celts range, named for the Iverni, the first Celtic people said to have reached Ireland. It aims for cold pine forest, open sky and raw land. The opening is deliberately wintry, with snow, ice and juniper. A metallic note and rose sit in the heart, and the base brings spruce, woody notes, moss and a flint-like mineral edge. It is airy and elemental rather than comforting, and it does not try to be sweet. The three wearers who have written about it disagree. One felt a cold, frosty freshness that turned into dull juniper and metallic nuances on skin, and was disappointed. Another found the icy note stayed on skin for a long time and called the scent unusual and clever. Those two verdicts sit far apart, so neither longevity nor broad appeal can be stated with confidence. Iverni is for wearers who like their fragrance cold, stony and coniferous. It is also a scent where skin chemistry may matter, so a sample comes before a full bottle, ideally worn through a full day.
