530 leans hard on the same blue Himalayan poppy and mimosa pairing that made Lancome Poeme a 90s icon, but where the original builds its notes in alternating waves, this budget take flattens everything into one loud powdery-sweet accord from the first spray. The citrus and black currant opening is punchier and more synthetic, fading within an hour rather than gently receding. Mimosa and vanilla flower still carry the heart, though the tuberose and jasmine feel thinner and less textured than the original composition. The amber-musk base arrives fast and stays close to the skin, missing the original's slow-building warmth. It is a recognisable nod to Poeme's DNA at a fraction of the price, best suited to those wanting the gist of the fragrance rather than its full depth.
