The heart brings neroli, ginger and cinnamon together for a clean, polished aromatic quality that echoes the original's spiced-floral core. Where the two part ways is in the black tea note that defines Imagination's identity - the original renders it as a dry, earthy, genuinely tea-like accord, while this version's take is simpler and reads closer to generic woody-ambery warmth than actual tea leaves. Guaiac wood and ambroxan in the base give a radiant, long-wearing woody finish, and the ambroxan performance is a reasonable stand-in for the original's signature aura, even if less refined. Longevity and projection are decent for the price point, though batch consistency and skin chemistry appear to affect wear time on both the original and this alternative. For citrus-fresh fans wanting the mood of Imagination without the designer price tag, Visionary gets close enough to be worthwhile.
