About

Eternity Intense is a rose with an edge. It opens bold and creamy, and the piquant spice of Sichuan pepper deepens it at once, giving the flower a little heat. As it settles, jasmine sambac takes over, sweet and fresh, softening the edges while keeping a sensual floral core. There is a hint of woody sweetness beneath, though the list of notes stays short: rose, pepper and jasmine do nearly all the work. The strength is considerable. It carries well, so a light hand is wise. Summer is its strongest season, with autumn close behind, and it feels at home on dates and at evening or formal occasions, where the floral-spicy character fits. It is too assertive for a quiet office and heavier than a casual day needs. Anyone who finds rose too tame may enjoy the spice.
