Aromara Sacred Ember is an Extrait de Parfum. Sacred Ember opens with Bergamot, Pepper, Pink Pepper, and Allspice, settles into a heart of Papyrus, Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Rose, and dries down to a base of Suede, Akigalawood, and Saffron. Aromara's Sacred Ember carries an Acquired verdict, a resinous-led wear.

Sacred Ember is Aromara's take on Amouage Purpose 50, a bold resinous-spice signature - olibanum, black pepper and bergamot opening into a vetiver-papyrus-sandalwood-rose heart, over saffron and suede. Built at 35% Extrait.

About

Sacred Ember goes after Amouage Purpose 50's dense, resinous-spice profile, opening on olibanum, black and pink pepper, pimento and bergamot for a properly commanding first impression. The heart brings in vetiver, papyrus, sandalwood and rose, giving it a dry, incense-adjacent texture rather than a sweet or fruity turn, which is faithful to the original's reputation as an assertive, resin-forward release. Akigalawood, saffron and suede in the base add a leathery, slightly smoky depth that keeps the composition serious through the drydown. It's a genuinely ambitious note list for a dupe house to attempt, and while the sheer density of Amouage's original is hard to fully replicate, the resinous-peppery-suede backbone is clearly recognisable. At 35% Extrait it has the strength to carry that complexity for hours.
