Only Desire opens with Bergamot, Pear, Banana, and Aldehydes, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Cumin, Vanilla, and Rum, and dries down to a base of Vanilla, Amberwood, and Praline. Diesel's Only Desire carries a Statement verdict, a vanilla-led wear.

Diesel's first fragrance made only for women is a vanilla with a metal edge, and the banana in the opening decides whether you love it or leave it. Distinctive rather than crowd-pleasing, and the sculptural orchid bottle is doing a lot of the talking.

About

Aldehydes land first, bright and faintly metallic, with a ripe banana and pear accord underneath that some wearers read as playful and others as plainly synthetic. The heart is where the concept lands: a powdery vanilla orchid threaded with jasmine, rum and a whisper of cumin, cool and creamy at the same time.
