Sospiro Perfumes Farsa is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2025, created by Anne-Louise Gautier. This one's a divisive dark horse. Some reckon it's a sophisticated, masculine amber oud for the grown-ups, while others find it surprisingly dull, like a damp, musky old boot. Definitely not for the 'young'uns'.

Farsa opens with a boozy splash of rum and dark blackcurrant, spiced up by a hint of saffron and pink pepper. As it settles, a rich, powdery cacao intertwined with earthy patchouli and warm amber emerges, leading to a deep, resonant base of oud, musky ambergris, and cedar. It's a complex, evolving scent, moving from initial sweetness to a more masculine, woody depth.
